I prefer rather to stand two steps back instead of one step forward (2018)

Photo: Andrea Herrera

I prefer rather to stay two steps back, instead of one step forward is a lecture-performance reflecting a modus operandi of a political structure, shielded from the public. Text, image and sound alternate each other and visualize proximity, distance, intimacy and ambiguity, where the performer is the mediator between the audience and the viewer. The lecture-performance plays with the limits of perception towards the viewer, a place or a situation.
